My project to design a calendar for the New Year of 2024 focuses on the theme of doors. Why doors? There's no particular reason for it, I just liked the reference photos I found on networks like Pinterest, Unsplash and Instagram. I'm an enthusiast of urban sketching and painting and it was easier to start with the details than drawing the whole street.
The calendar contains illustrations of different aesthetic images of doors, each of them special because of their decorative and colorful surroundings. The result is a visually stunning and impactful design that showcases my illustrations in watercolor and ink. As this is a series of illustrations, I have also created prints that are separate from the calendar.
